Rapidly Expanding ETHICS SA second equity funding round

Dec 16, 2009 – NEW YORK. An Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting of ETHICS SA took place in Aubonne, Switzerland on December 10, 2009, during which the shareholders unanimously approved to open a second round of equity financing for the company. The purpose of this capital raise is to seize new growth opportunities among major economic players seeking to rebuild trust and to develop credible corporate culture.

Pascal Borel, CEO of ETHICS SA said: "We are very encouraged by the initial response we have received and look forward to major expansion of our activities in 2010". Existing and new shareholders will have two opportunities to invest both via a direct subscription to common shares of ETHICS SA as well as via ordinary shares in the ETHICS Certification Segregated Portfolio of Ace Alliance Fund SPC Ltd. with as major benefit a capital guarantee feature. This funding round will close on March 01, 2010.

The shareholders also unanimously approved changes to the ETHICS Board of Directors with specific roles assigned to the non-executive directors. Johan Schotte, who was appointed as the Vice-Chairman, said: "It is with great pleasure that I accept this honorable new appointment which will challenge me to excel in spreading awareness for the global urgent need for corporate Ethics Certification in the business world as well as in the international civil society".
