EngagementThe time necessary for each of the stages differs depending on the size of the company and the scoping of the project. The timelines are determined during the initial visit (self-evaluation and toolkit presentation)
A survey is completed in order to define the scope of the certification. An ETHICS™ manager is appointed.
The certification comprises three stages:- Strategic review conducted by an accredited Investigation Firm, focusing on risk detection:
a. Control of documentation
b. Process identification
c. External and internal risk analysis
- Implementation of norms and procedures required by the Standard. This process involves the company’s internal resources and, if necessary, a consulting firm.
- Final audit conducted by specially trained third party auditors. As a result of a successful certification process, an internal and external control system guarantees compliance with the norms of the Standard.
- ETHICS™ audit in accordance with the Certification process
- Award of ETHICS™ Certificate by a Certfication Body
Maintenance and renewal of the CertificationThe Certification is valid 3 years.
The company may withdraw from the process at any stage.
